About the role
Kafal Care brings doctors to patients' homes and to their phones. Medical Officers are the clinical backbone of our doctor-on-call service, treating and advising patients in the comfort of their own home.
We are hiring 50 Medical Officers on contract to support our expansion across Nepal, in home visits and online consultations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct home visits and online consultations for patients of all ages
- Assess symptoms, examine patients and give diagnosis and treatment advice
- Prescribe medicines, order tests and refer patients to hospitals when needed
- Review blood test reports and guide patients on next steps
- Keep accurate, confidential patient records for every consultation
- Follow Kafal Care's clinical protocols and escalate emergencies promptly
What we're looking for
- Valid Nepal Medical Council (NMC) license
- Attach a copy of your NMC license to your application
- MBBS degree from a recognised institution
- Good communication with patients and families in Nepali and English
- Comfortable with home visits and with telemedicine
A valid Nepal Medical Council (NMC) license is required. You'll attach a copy of it when you apply.

- Experience in general practice, emergency or internal medicine
- Experience with elderly or chronic care
